A time that brought you close to your partner:
So many of our adventures, but I would say one of our first dates actually where Bill took me up a mutli-pitch spire when I had literally never climbing before. I did not look into it prior, just trusted him. I liked him a lot so I felt like I had to accomplish the climb. I bailed on the second pitch, scared out of my mind. It was an incredible day though – he pushed me, listened to my needs + inspired me. From there I was hooked on this life we would build together.

Traci is the epitome of a meticulous planner with enthusiasm that emanates whenever the landscape sparks inspiration for the perfect shot. Her talent is unparalleled and creativity endless, and it’s truly a privilege to witness the passion she pours into her work – a passion that speaks for itself in the breathtaking photographs she captures.

A hike we took during 2023 Summer up to a hidden Glacier on the side of Mt Shukstan. I felt like this brought us closer because it was a legit challenging hike where we had to stick together and work together to get there and to return. We got to go somewhere beautiful + presitine on our own. It was an overall neat experience.

Despite having met us in person just the day before, Bill proved to be an empathetic observer who was attentive to everyone. His fun-loving and good-spirited nature immediately put us at ease, helping ensure our personalities were captured in the photographs.

Types of elopements she loves:
A mix of adventure in the am + intimate wedding in the evening with guests.
A time that brought you close to your partner:
Time that brought us closer: Getting engaged in New Zealand was pretty special. During just the hour that I proposed & immediately after we got to see all sorts of things in nature. From rain, to rainbow, & sun as we watched the weather patterns change & race across the landscape while we were celebrating such a special occasion. Then getting to enjoy private hot springs that evening while overlooking the mountains, that’s a time I’ll never forget.

The elopement day was a dream come true and went off without a hitch thanks to him. Not to mention the amazing photography! We could not be more happy with all the beautiful pictures we have from our dream elopement.

bill + traci’s
elopement
We eloped just us two after hiking 74 miles around the base of Mount Rainier on the Wonderland Trail in August of 2021. Afterwards, we took our cat, Indy, on a separate backpacking trip on National Forest Land to camp with us and put his paw print on our marriage paperwork.
Our elopement experience was surreal, hard, emotional, beautiful and something neither one of us will ever forget. We couldn’t imagine getting married in another way, this way was so us, purposeful and a reflection of what marriage is. We personally found it really important to get married in a way that we would be only focused on being a team, being disconnected from everything else in life and surrounded by nature.
We chose eloping in Mt Rainier for two reasons – the park had a lot of personal meaning to both of us and it was home to this specific trail.

Malachi’s elopement Wedding
Malachi married his partner Kaleb in August of 2024. Together they planned a day, very much like the type of elopement’s Malachi likes to capture – a private adventure in the mountains on day one followed by a more intimate wedding on day two. Their private vows were emotionally shared at sunrise at Hurricane Ridge.
That same day they went and picked out flowers together from a local farm and spent the day arranging them and prepping the wedding space along side their family and friends.
The following day they got ready together in a cute A-Frame with Bunji (their dog) nearby. They walked hand in hand together to their beachside ceremony, which was officiated by Kaleb’s sister. Afterwards they celebrated the night away with speeches, dancing, toasts and so much love surrounded by all of their favorite people. A wedding with the best of both worlds – adventure + privacy with their loved ones + traditions.

“Their attention to detail and creative eye resulted in stunning, breathtaking images that we will cherish for a lifetime. “The quality of their work speaks for itself. They were responsive, professional, and truly invested in capturing our love story in the most beautiful way possible.”
